GreenOre Intercepts 5m at 6.41g/t Gold at their Fore Burn Project
GreenOre Gold Plc (GreenOre) is delighted to announce the latest positive results of the Ayrshire drilling programme. Six holes have recently been drilled in a priority winter campaign, with over 1,600 metres of core recovered to date. These holes tested anomalies detected by prior geophysics work. Results of the first five holes (totalling 1414 metres) have now been received, with two holes returning significant grade:

Highlights of the results so far include 5 metres of intersected rock, grading just over 5 grams of gold per tonne of host-rock in hole 18-FB-07 from 99 to 104 metres (including 1 metre at 22g/t gold at 99 metres), within quartz hematite veining in hornfels (hornstone), as well as 5 metres at 6.41g/t gold in hole 18-FB-10 from 184 to 189 metres (including 1 metre at 22.6g/t Au at 188 metres), and 2 metres at 7.63g/t gold at 336 metres (including 1 metre at 14.75g/t gold at 337 metres) in the same hole with both intersections displaying sulphide bearing tourmaline breccias and quartz veining. Visible gold was also observed at 337 metres in hole 18-FB-10.
Given these encouraging results, follow up drilling is planned through February 2019.
